HCC will be doing tree safety work along the Meon Valley Trail during Febuary and March as a result of Ash Dieback (ADB). The works are planned to take place between 23rd Feb and 31st March working from West Meon down to Wickham.

Information signs on the ADB disease and works will be placed along the trail to inform the public of the upcoming works and they will stay in place after works are complete for a few weeks to also allow public to understand the reasons for the tree safety works. The signs have a QR code which leads to ADB information and also has a HCC email for any enquiries.

The contractors will be in direct contact with any parties where works are adjacent to properties so safe working can be followed at all times. The Trail will not be closed during these works and public will be free to continue using the trail. HCC ask the public to respect the safety of the operators and follow any safety signage present.
